I can help you rediscover the brighterside of life.

If you feel as if life has become difficult and you want help finding a way out from under those 'black clouds' I am here to help you. It can be difficult to pinpoint exactly what the problem may be as it is often a mixture of things causing us to feel low or not like ourselves. Talking to someone outside of your friends and family helps you to gain a clearer perspective, without judgement. Together we can work towards creating you a brighter future and a happier life.

About me and my practice

After counselling helped me I decided to train in order to be able to help others who were also finding life difficult.
I work with the whole you, in a pluralistic way. This means I use various therapeutic approaches depending on what suits you best, always with you at the core of our work.
I know therapy can feel daunting so want to reassure you I always work at a pace you are comfortable with and am happy to answer any questions you may have.

Experience

I have been a volunteer with my local MIND organisation, working with people struggling with a range of problems - anxiety, depression, bereavement, menopause, health issues, OCD, life changes etc.
I have previously worked in residential care for over 65s, and also support those diagnosed - and the family of those diagnosed - with Dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and other neurological conditions. I also work with those in the care sector, who may be experiencing burnout or people pleasing to the extent they are ne toglecting their own wants and needs.
